In Zaporizhzhia, two occupation "law enforcement" officers will be tried for extorting money from a resident of Yakymivka to stop illegal actions against him.

It has been established that the so-called "deputy of the criminal police" and "inspector of the patrol service" from the illegally created law enforcement agency, "Akimovskoye Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Zaporizhzhia Region," acted together to commit unlawful actions against a peaceful resident of the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Region.
Жителя Якимівки подвергли издевательствам и требовали деньги за прекращение незаконных действий. В Запорожье судят двоих оккупационных «правоохранителей».

The press service of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office has reported this.

In collusion with representatives of armed formations from the Russian Federation, the suspects, under threats of using weapons, unlawfully detained a 28-year-old resident of Yakymivka and took him to the outskirts of the settlement. There, in an attempt to force him into cooperation regarding the victim, they inflicted physical and psychological violence. They beat him, threatened to kill him, and made him dig his own grave, thereby simulating the intent to execute him.

To stop the abuse, the man was compelled to hand over $500 and €500 to the fake law enforcement officers.

Currently, an indictment has been submitted to the court against two citizens of Ukraine for the brutal treatment of civilians and other violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
