A local crime boss in Zaporizhzhia is set to be tried for selling drugs in a detention center.
Law enforcement officials have documented the illegal activities of a 59-year-old inmate who was distributing cannabis and methamphetamine among fellow prisoners, and the pre-trial investigation has now been concluded.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhia region has reported this.
It is known that the man has repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement and is currently facing charges in several criminal proceedings for committing a number of serious crimes.
Based on the collected evidence, the authorities have informed the so-called criminal authority of his suspicion in committing crimes under part 2 of Article 255-1 and part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the investigators have completed the pre-trial investigation and sent the indictment to the court.
