A car was stolen from a service station: In Dnipro, the court issued a guilty verdict against the car thief based on the evidence presented by investigators.
In July 2024, a 32-year-old man stole a car from a service station in the Industrial District of Dnipro. After receiving a report about the stolen vehicle, law enforcement apprehended him in the city of Pidhorodne as he attempted to leave the area.

The police seized the stolen car and informed the man of his suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unlawful possession of a vehicle).
After examining the evidence, the court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment.
