A 42-year-old suspect has been apprehended by police in Dnipropetrovsk for stabbing his wife.

A forensic investigation team from the police department No. 1 of the Dnipro District Police Administration was working at the scene. As law enforcement officials discovered, during a conflict, a man inflicted a stab wound on his 42-year-old wife. She was hospitalized with her injury.

The police apprehended the attacker in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The weapon used in the crime—a knife—was seized.

Investigators informed the detained individual of his suspicion under part 1 of Article 121 (intentional serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A decision is being made regarding the selection of a preventive measure for him. The investigation is ongoing.
