The killer of a 9-year-old girl from Pavlohrad has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Here are the details.
In June 2024, a child went missing in the town of Debeln. A week later, her body was discovered in a forest located four kilometers from her home.

German publications Tagesspiegel and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported this.
The convicted individual is a citizen of Moldova who had been in a relationship with the mother of the murdered girl for about three months.
The 37-year-old man has received a sentence of life imprisonment. The court also ruled that the crime was particularly severe, making early release after 15 years in prison virtually impossible.
It is known that the girl's father, Roman Hudzenko, who serves in the Ukrainian army, was present at the hearing. He was allowed to travel to Germany for the trial, where he was a co-plaintiff.
