In the Kamensky district, police have charged a man with arson for setting fire to a friend's car.

The crime took place in the Upper Dnipro community on September 25 during curfew hours. Law enforcement officials determined that the suspect traveled to a neighboring village where a friend of his lived. In the yard of the house, he noticed a parked car that belonged to the victim. After igniting a bottle filled with a flammable substance, the perpetrator threw it towards the vehicle and fled the scene. As a result of the fire, the car was completely destroyed.

After conducting a series of operational and investigative measures, the police of Police Station No. 3 of the Kamianske District Police Department identified a 37-year-old resident of the Kamianske district as being involved in the crime.

The suspect has been informed of the charges against him for committing a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty for this article includes imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.
