The police in Synelnykove have charged a 39-year-old local man with illegally taking possession of a vehicle.
A report of the crime was received by the police on January 3rd. Criminal investigation officers, in collaboration with representatives from the criminal analysis unit, examined the crime scene and reviewed surveillance footage. On the same day, law enforcement apprehended a male suspect on one of the streets in the city of Synelnykove. It turned out that he was a local resident with a history of multiple convictions for similar offenses.

Based on the gathered evidence, on February 4, the investigator, in agreement with the Synelnykove District Prosecutor's Office, notified the offender of the suspicion under Part 1 of Article 289 (illegal seizure of a vehicle) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
