A 46-year-old man was suspected of setting fire to two cars in retaliation against his employer, according to investigators in Dnipro.
The suspect doused gasoline and set fire to vehicles in a parking lot in the central district of the city. The crime occurred on January 15 on Pylypa Orlyk Avenue.

In an act of revenge against his employer, a 46-year-old man took a five-liter container of gasoline and went to the company's parking lot. After dousing two parked cars, he set them on fire. The moment of the arson was captured by surveillance cameras.
The man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. On January 16, he was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For the crime committed, he faces a potential sentence of 3 to 10 years in prison. The investigation is ongoing.
