Attacking women in the city center: law enforcement in Dnipro has apprehended the suspect.

On Troitska Street, the suspect attacked a 22-year-old woman with a knife, and on Svyatoslav Khorobry Street, he robbed a 41-year-old woman. For these crimes, the suspect faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.

On Saturday, January 11, the criminal waited for the woman to exit a building in the city center and followed her. The assailant caught up with the victim and, holding a knife to her throat, took her mobile phone and money. The man then fled down the street from the crime scene.

While escaping after the robbery, the suspect attacked another woman on Svyatoslav the Brave Street. He snatched a bag containing personal belongings from the hands of a 41-year-old victim.

Law enforcement officers tracked down and detained the attacker in the city of Kamianske. The 37-year-old man had previous legal issues related to property crimes. The criminal was apprehended in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the police are investigating the suspect's involvement in other crimes committed in the city. On January 14, investigators notified the detainee of the charges under part 4 of Article 187 and part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
