In Odesa, authorities dismantled an international crime group that assisted conscripted men in fleeing Ukraine.

It consisted of an organizer, a citizen of Armenia, and two accomplices who were citizens of Ukraine. They charged each client $6,500 for their services, which they sourced through their own connections.
В Одесской области остановлена деятельность международной преступной группы, которая помогала призывникам покинуть Украину.

Initially, potential border violators were transported from Odesa to the suburbs, and then to the border settlements of the Podilskyi district.

One of the accomplices was apprehended directly near the state border, close to the village of Kruty in the Podilskyi district. He attempted to smuggle a conscript-aged man across the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border, initially escorting him via public transport.

On the same day, authorized searches were conducted at the residence of the organizer and another accomplice, resulting in the seizure of items that may indicate criminal activity.

All three individuals were detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code and were notified of suspicion for committing a criminal offense, as defined in part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.”
