Law enforcement in Zaporizhia uncovered a traitor who actively supported the "Russian world."
A 57-year-old resident of the regional center fervently justified and supported Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. She openly expressed these views and attempted to persuade her acquaintances. Such an ideological stance could lead to a prison sentence of up to three years for her.

The press service of the Main Department of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region reported this.
Law enforcement officials determined that in July 2024, the offender actively disseminated her pro-Russian views during phone conversations, asserting that the television and other media she consumed justified the "legitimacy" of armed aggression.
Based on the collected evidence and linguistic expertise, investigators informed the woman of her suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 436-2 (Justification, recognition of legitimacy, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
