Two criminals were sentenced to 13.5 years in prison for a robbery attack on a couple in Dnipropetrovsk region.
In March 2023, the men conspired to assault an elderly couple. They broke into the couple's home, delivering multiple blows and inflicting knife wounds on the victims. Subsequently, they stole their possessions.

In August 2024, the defendants were found guilty of the charged crime and sentenced to 13.5 and 9 years of imprisonment. The prosecutors disagreed with the verdict of the first instance court due to its leniency and appealed it in the appellate court.
The Dnipro Appellate Court supported the position of the prosecution and issued a new verdict – both men were sentenced to 13.5 years of imprisonment. In court, the perpetrators did not admit their guilt; however, the prosecutors fully proved it. Currently, the verdict has entered into legal force.
