The Cabinet of Ministers has made amendments to the regulations concerning the issuance of driver's licenses, vehicle registration/re-registration, and deregistration of vehicles.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Driver's licenses, vehicle registration certificates, and license plates can now be obtained through any postal operator. Previously, this process was exclusively handled by "Ukrposhta." The new rules will take effect six months after the publication of the resolution.
Moreover, vehicle owners who are temporarily not participating in road traffic within Ukraine can deregister their vehicles. This will allow for insurance contracts to be made for shorter periods – from 15 days to five months. This simplifies the process for those who use their vehicles seasonally or for other reasons temporarily do not utilize them.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the “Fines UA” application can be used to check and reliably pay off parking fines.
