During the night, air defense shot down 60 out of 94 enemy drones, according to the Air Force.

On the night of January 12, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine with 94 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and various types of imitation drones.

"As of 09:00, the destruction of 60 strike drones of the 'Shahed' type and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Donetsk regions," the report states.

As a result of the fallen enemy drones, several buildings were damaged in Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions. There were no casualties or injuries.

Another 34 enemy imitation drones were lost in location.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
