In the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open, Ukrainian player Elina Svitolina faced off against Veronika Kudermetova.

The match started off surprisingly difficult for Svitolina, as she lost four out of the first five games – two of which were on her own serve.

However, she then gathered herself and delivered a phenomenal run of five consecutive games won, along with the entire first set.

After that, the Ukrainian no longer "played with the nerves" of her fans, but calmly took care of the Russian player in just half an hour – 6:1.
