Donetsk's "Shakhtar" was unable to secure a victory in their away Champions League match against the Dutch club PSV.
The "Miners" quickly took the lead thanks to an early goal from Danilo Sikan. Throughout the first half, both teams exchanged dangerous chances.
On the 39th minute, Alexander Zubkov finally found his luck – the ball from the Shakhtar player's long-range shot flew precisely into the bottom corner of the opponent's goal.
In the second half, the Dutch club significantly increased their intensity, pressing the Ukrainians back to their goal. A key moment was the red card shown to Pedrinho for a rough tackle from behind.
Following this, PSV's dominance undoubtedly intensified, but no one expected the Dutch club to not only make a comeback but also secure a 3:2 victory.
In the last ten minutes of the match, Malik Tillman scored a brace, and Ricardo Pepi clinched the win for PSV by netting the decisive goal in the 90+5 minute.
