Russia has launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure: here's what we know so far.

The Russian army is conducting a massive missile attack. The enemy is launching cruise missiles of the "Kalibr" and X-101 types. Targets are being identified across all parts of Ukraine.

This is reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Following the declaration of an air raid alert across the country, "Ukrenergo" has implemented emergency power outages. The Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko emphasized that energy facilities are currently under enemy strikes.

As of now, there are reports of hits in the Volyn region, in Sumy, and in Kharkiv. Three missile strikes were carried out on the city, all targeting the Kyiv district. According to preliminary information from Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the Russians attacked one of the civilian enterprises. No information about casualties has been reported.

Additionally, as reported by correspondents from "Suspilne", explosions were heard in Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Lutsk, Kropyvnytskyi, and also in Kyiv.

The KMVA reported that during the missile attack on Kyiv, debris fell in the Dnipro district. Preliminary reports indicate this occurred in an open area without destruction or injuries.

Due to power outages across Ukraine, 6 trains are delayed by more than 1 hour. On the de-energized sections, backup locomotives are in operation, so "Ukrzaliznytsia" promises to gradually reduce the delays.

In the meantime, in Rivne region, as a result of the attack, over 280,000 consumers are without power. The region has also experienced interruptions in water supply.

The head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, also reported on the attack on infrastructure facilities. He promised to provide details of the strikes later. 

At the same time, the KMVA updated the data on the consequences of the attack on the capital. In Kyiv, missile debris fell on the territory of an enterprise in the Darnytskyi district. Several utility buildings and a truck were slightly damaged.

Furthermore, it has been reported about the first injured person as a result of the massive missile attack. In Vinnytsia region, a local resident was injured from the shelling. Residential buildings were also damaged, a utility building was destroyed, and a car was burned.

The Headquarters of United Communities added that 215,000 subscribers in the Volyn region are without electricity due to the attack on critical infrastructure.

In the meantime, the head of the Kirovohrad OVA Andrii Raikovych reported missile and drone strikes in the region. Firefighters are extinguishing the fire. There were no casualties.

The head of the Khmelnytskyi OVA Serhiy Tyurin noted that due to the attack, there were partial power outages in Shepetivka and Khmelnytskyi districts. Overall, during the shelling, 3 enemy missiles were destroyed in the region.
