In Kharkiv region, the Medical-Social Expert Commission has been dissolved, according to a local council member.

The Kharkiv Regional Council has voted to dissolve the Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise, with its staff to be transferred to the regional clinical hospital. The decision was supported by 89 deputies.

This was reported on Facebook by regional council member Halyna Kuts.

“The Medical and Social Expertise Center in Kharkiv has been dissolved. The Kharkiv Regional Council has voted to terminate this structure by merging it with the Kharkiv Regional Hospital,” the statement reads.

Before the session, a meeting of the relevant Commission on Health, Motherhood, and Childhood took place. It was stated that all employees of the Medical and Social Expertise Center would be transferred to positions as doctors at the regional hospital.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a bill to dissolve the Medical and Social Expertise Center and implement a new system starting January 1, 2025.
