Monday, January 20

• The start of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Ukrainian delegation will be led by President Volodymyr Zelensky. At 16:00 Central European Time (17:00 Kyiv time), the doors of the Ukrainian House in Davos will open. The "Ukrainian House" will be operational until 21:00 on January 23, located at: Promenade St., 59.
• State Statistics. Publication of the "Agricultural Production Index".

Tuesday, January 21

• National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). Unemployment statistics as of December 2024.
• Ministry of Finance. Placement of domestic government bonds (OVDP) maturing in:
  • June 2026 (UA4000234215);
  • June 2027 (UA4000234223);
  • January 2029 (additional placement – UA4000234140).

As a result of previous OVDP placements that occurred on January 14, the state budget attracted 8.76 billion UAH. The average yield level is 15.1%, 16.2%, and 14.7% depending on the series of bonds.

• NBU. Decision on the discount rate. The announcement of the results is expected between 14:00 and 15:00. In December, the NBU already raised the rate by 0.5 percentage points to 13.5%. This decision was aimed at maintaining the stability of the currency market, keeping inflation expectations in check, and gradually slowing inflation to the target of 5%.
