The Ukrainian military intelligence has destroyed a Russian radar station in Crimea.

On November 28, 2024, as a result of a successful operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine near the settlement of Kotovske in the western part of temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian radar complex "Podlyot" was destroyed.

“The mobile radar 48Ya6-K1 ‘Podlyot’ is used by the enemy to detect aerial targets at low and extremely low altitudes in complex jamming conditions,” the statement reads.

According to intelligence data, the estimated cost of the destroyed enemy radar complex "Podlyot," which is designed, among other things, to provide target indications for the S-300 and S-400 missile systems, is $5 billion.
