Women, transgender individuals, and electric vehicles will lack support: Trump announced the first executive orders he plans to sign.

The tariffs on all imports to the United States could prove particularly shocking for the global economy if the decree is indeed signed.

The newly elected president of the United States has stated in recent weeks leading up to the inauguration, scheduled for Monday, January 20, that he will immediately sign a "record number" of executive orders upon taking office.

Here’s a brief overview of some of the orders that Trump himself has announced.

* Raids against illegal immigrants will be conducted in various major cities across the U.S., followed by their deportation.

* A state of emergency will be declared at the U.S.-Mexico border.

* The "Remain in Mexico" program will be reinstated, which requires tens of thousands of asylum seekers to return to Mexico and stay there while U.S. authorities review their applications.

* The military will be ordered to assist in the construction of barriers at the U.S.-Mexico border.

* Tariffs of 25% will be imposed on goods from Mexico and Canada.

* A 10% tariff will be applied to all other goods imported from other countries into the United States. According to Trump, this measure is intended to boost American manufacturing as foreign goods will become more expensive.

* Biden's executive orders banning gas and oil extraction on federal lands and along the coast will be revoked.

* Schools and businesses will no longer receive funding for DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) programs that support women and ethnic minorities.

* Pardons will be granted to Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and were convicted for it.

* Transgender individuals will be banned from serving in the military and working in schools.

* Government subsidies for electric vehicles will be eliminated, and the construction of new wind turbines will cease.

European officials are concerned that Trump will impose trade tariffs on goods from the EU, reports the Financial Times. This is considered "one of the most alarming prospects" for the bloc, as the U.S. is a major trading and investment partner. "The scale of Trump's plans—if they materialize—will far exceed attempts by any recent president to use the power of their cabinet to test the boundaries of the presidency," states CNN.

As reported, Trump's team promises to begin raids on illegal immigrants the day after the inauguration. Trump has stated that he will personally lead "the largest deportation program in the country's history."
