The High Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a preventive measure for the acting head of the Customs Service, Zvyagintsev.

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for the acting head of the State Customs Service, Serhiy Zvyahintsev, who is suspected of failing to declare assets worth over $100,000.

This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

The court decided to impose a preventive measure on Zvyahintsev in the form of a bail set at 60,650 UAH.

Investigators uncovered evidence of active use and residence in an undeclared property. This concerns assets valued at $100,000 on 237 hectares near Kyiv, which were registered in the name of Serhiy Zvyahintsev's father-in-law.

There, law enforcement found personal belongings of the suspect, his wife, as well as utility payment receipts. During the search, a mobile phone, laptop, and other personal items were seized.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced suspicion against the head of the State Customs Service, Serhiy Zvyahintsev. He allegedly failed to declare real estate worth $100,000.
