A virtual assistant may be introduced in Diia to handle citizen complaints.

By 2030, Ukraine aims to rank among the top three countries globally in terms of integration and implementation of AI solutions, stated the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

In the Diia app, an AI assistant may be introduced in the first quarter of 2025, which will listen to citizens' complaints and forward them to the relevant government agencies.

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the presentation of the AI Center of Excellence, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“We are working on creating a specific assistant in Diia that will utilize AI language, a certain AI agent that you can turn to if you encounter a problem while interacting with the state,” said Fedorov.

According to him, the assistant will be accessible via voice commands, as it will be capable of converting speech to text. After that, Diia will determine which ministry has the authority to address the complaint or issue and will redirect the inquiry accordingly.

The minister added that the government aims to rank among the top three countries in the world in terms of AI integration and implementation by 2030. He noted that we should not expect competitors to OpenAI or DeepSeek to emerge in Ukraine by 2025.
