Emergency power outages have been implemented in eight regions, according to "Ukrenergo."

The reason is the drop in air temperature across the entire territory of Ukraine.
В восьми областях введены аварийные отключения электроэнергии, сообщает «Укренерго».

On the morning of February 4, emergency power outages were implemented in eight regions.

This was reported by NEC "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.

“Due to damage inflicted by enemy missile and drone attacks on electricity generation and transmission facilities, emergency outages were implemented today in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk (partially), and Cherkasy (partially) regions,” the statement said.

It was noted that as of 7:30 AM on February 4, electricity consumption was 2.8% higher than the previous day's figures.

According to "Ukrenergo", the cause is the drop in air temperature across the entire territory of Ukraine.

“Please use electricity very sparingly today from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. If possible, avoid using high-power electrical appliances during this period and do not turn on several such devices at the same time,” warned "Ukrenergo".

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Moscow-controlled region of Moldova, Transnistria, halted power outages and began restoring heating in apartments. Thus, after a month, the supply of natural gas, funded by the European Union, was resumed.
