On the night of December 3, the Russian army launched an attack on Ukraine using "Shaheds" and various types of drones. A total of 28 drones were deployed.

The air defense system was active in 9 regions: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk.
As a result of the aerial battle, 22 drones were shot down, 2 exited Ukrainian airspace, and 1 was lost in terms of location. The remaining drones struck areas in Ternopil and Rivne.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that for the second consecutive day, the Russians have been attacking Ternopil. They hit an energy facility, resulting in a fire at the enterprise and part of the city being without electricity.
