Pozdeev commented on the altercation with Kharatin following the match between Veres and Kolos.

The coach of Kolos, Alexander Pozdeev, commented on the conflict with Igor Kharatin during a press conference following the match of the 19th round of the UPL 2024/25 against Veres (1:2), which occurred after the game:

“What did I discuss with Igor Kharatin after the match? He wanted to say something, but I couldn’t hear him because the stands were celebrating, and it was very loud. I approached him to ask what he meant.

I wanted to clarify with him. As for the celebration – I think it’s unethical. Because the Kolos club did not treat him the way he feels. I congratulate him – he scored a goal and did well.”

Kharatin converted a penalty for Veres in the 90+8th minute and celebrated exuberantly. Pozdeev was displeased and mentioned a lack of respect, as Igor is a former player of Kolos. It was Pozdeev who moved Kharatin to the second team of the Kovalivka club because Igor wanted his dismissal.
