UkrOboronProm and the French company Thales International are set to establish a joint venture.

During the Munich Security Conference, representatives of "Ukroboronprom" signed an agreement with the French company "Thales International SAS" to establish a joint venture.

This is reported by the press service of "Ukroboronprom".

It is noted that the newly established enterprise will focus on developing advanced technological solutions to enhance air defense, radars, electronic warfare systems, tactical communications, and optoelectronic systems.

The General Director of "Ukroboronprom," Oleg Hulyak, stated that the partnership agreement will allow for a "tighter defense of Ukrainian skies against Russian threats" and will provide Ukrainian arms manufacturers with experience working with "the most modern" technologies.

The Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin, noted that the Ukrainian defense industry has been collaborating with Thales International SAS for a considerable time.
