The football club "Los Angeles," which competes in Major League Soccer (USA/Canada), has announced the signing of a Ukrainian player.
Defender Artem Smolyakov from Zhytomyr's "Polissia" will continue his career with the "black-gold" team.
The player, who is part of the Ukrainian U21 national team, has signed a contract with the Los Angeles club that runs until the end of 2028. The 21-year-old footballer may make his debut for the new team on February 19, when they kick off the new season.
According to unconfirmed reports, the transfer fee for Smolyakov was 2 million euros.
From now on, four Ukrainian footballers will be playing in MLS (Major League Soccer).
