In Davos, where the World Economic Forum is taking place, Ukraine and Albania have signed a 10-year agreement for long-term cooperation and support.
The text of the document was published on the President's Office website.
It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, Albania has been providing comprehensive support to Ukraine, including military and humanitarian aid. The agreement states that this support will continue throughout the duration of the document. Additionally, the country will contribute to the coalition of fighter jets by providing language training for Ukrainian pilots and technical personnel.
The countries will continue to exchange information, share experiences, and collaborate in the field of cyber diplomacy. Albania will offer technical assistance to Ukraine and help strengthen its cyber resilience. Furthermore, the states will work together to counter foreign information manipulation and interference, including Russian disinformation.
Albania will support Ukraine's Peace Formula, the accountability of the Russian Federation, compensation for damages, sanctions against Russia, and cooperation in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
