Ukraine has received its first €3 billion from the EU through Russian assets, according to Shmyhal.

Overall, the G7 ERA initiative plans to allocate $50 billion to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian state budget has received €3 billion from the EU under the ERA initiative.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported this information.

"This is the first tranche of funds from the European Union, backed by revenues from frozen Russian assets," he emphasized.

According to him, Ukraine will allocate this resource for priority budget expenditures.

As stated by the head of government, the G7 ERA initiative aims to direct $50 billion to Ukraine, with the European Union contributing $20 billion of that amount.

"In this way, we are implementing the principle of 'Russia will pay' and strengthening Ukraine's financial stability in 2025," Shmyhal declared.
