Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

“Ukraine will never consent to agreements made behind our backs without our participation. The same rule should apply to all of Europe. No decisions about Ukraine without Ukraine. No decisions about Europe without Europe. Europe must have a seat at the table when decisions are made about Europe,” the head of state emphasized.

According to him, if an agreement is reached without Ukraine and Europe, “everyone loses.”

The president warned that the Kremlin leader is currently attempting to negotiate with the U.S. without the involvement of Ukraine and Europe—similar to before the war when they met in Switzerland and seemed poised to divide the world.

“Then Putin will try to have the U.S. president standing in Red Square on May 9 this year—not as a respected leader, but as a prop in his show. We do not need that. We need genuine success. True peace,” Zelensky added.
