The State Property Fund conducted a repeat auction for the privatization of the unique property complex of the state enterprise "Scientific Research Institute 'Buran'" in Kyiv. During the bidding, the asset's price surged 120 times – from the initial 413,000 UAH to 49.5 million UAH.
This is evidenced by data from Prozorro.Sales.
A total of 10 participants competed for the lot. The winning bid was submitted by the limited liability company "ILD." The company has been registered in Brovary for eight months and specializes in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
The firm has four founders, with the largest shares held by Alina Shupyk and Vera Fetisova – 28% and 43% respectively. The other two co-founders, Vladislav Pustovoy and Marina Vizental, also have two joint companies. One specializes in car repairs and is registered at the same address as "ILD." The second focuses on the cultivation of spinning crops. Pustovoy, Vizental, and Shupyk also hold shares in another company with the same line of business.
It is worth noting that in July, the State Property Fund nearly sold "Buran." The auction winner – Kyiv's "BAM-Group" – failed to provide payment for the lot, prompting the Fund to annul the auction results.
